As part of the ongoing work with the Bude water vole release programme we must continuously monitor for signs of mink in the river catchment. A number of monitoring rafts have been placed in the catchment and are checked regularly for prints or other signs such as spraint.
Our long term goal is to minimise the number of breeding mink in Cornwall. We are embarking on initiating the first phase of this process and are currently circulating a questionnaire to relevant organisations and parties to assess the likely scale of the task.
Should you feel you can contribute to the questionnaire please follow the link to our online survey form.
This page will continue to develop as the project gains momentum. Please keep up to date by checking back.
